Given area of trapezium =480m^2
area of trapezium=1÷2 h(a±b)
so 480=1÷2×15×(20±b)
Or 64=20±b or b=44m
hence the other parallel side of trapezium is 44m

Given area of trapezium=480sq.m
=> distance(height) between ll sides=15m
=> length of one ll side=20m
Let the other parallel side be x.
we know that,
Area of trapezium=1/2×h(sum of parallel sides)
=> 480m^2=1/2×15m×(20m+x)
=> 480m^2×2/1×15m=20m+x
=> 960m^2/15m=20m+x
=> 64m=20m+x
=> 64m-20m=x
=> 44m=x
=> x=44m
so,the lenth of other parallel side=44m
hope this helps
