in first triangle, given numbers are :- 8, 7 and 5
for now, leave the number "5"
on adding 8 and 7 = 8 + 7 = 15
we know that a triangle have 3 sides.
divide the sum of 8 and 7 by 3 = 15/3 = 5
in the second triangle, given numbers are 7, 5 and 4
we will solve this one by same method.
we will divide the sum if 7 and 5 by 3.
sum if 7 and 5 = 7 + 5 = 12
divide the sum of 7 and 5 by 3 = 12/3 = 4
so the trick used here is to divide the sum of first two numbers in those triangles by 3.
hence, the missing digit in the final triangle is = (9 + 9) / 3 = 18/3 = 6
"6" is the missing digit in that triangle.
