11. Given that,

16 - x / x = 22 / 10

Lets do cross multiplication..

( 16 - x ) 10 = 22 × x

160 - 10x = 22x

160 = 22x + 10x

160 = 32x

160/ 32 = x

5 = x

Result :

x = 5

12. Given,

0.32 ( 5x - 2 ) = 0.8x + 14

Do multiplication..

1.6x - 0.64 = 0.8x + 14

1.6x - 0.8x = 14 + 0.64

0.8x = 14.64

x = 14.64 / 0.8

x = 18.3

Result :

x = 18.3
