Explanation:

Five forces 2N, √3N ,5N,√3N and 2N respectively act at a particle P

At first take the 2N and 2N forces:

Resultant force: √2^2+2^2+2x2x2xcos 120°

                             = 2

take the √3N and √3N forces:

Resultant force: √3+3+2x √3x√3x 1/2

                          = 3

so the forces will be:

5 N+3 N+ 2 N

= 10 N

The resultant force will be 10 N making angle 60° with X-axis
