Hey\:!!..

What is squaring ?

Squaring is multiplying a number by itself or raising it to a power of 2.

For example, when we multiply 2 by 2 then we get answer as 4.

4 is also equal to {2}^{2} So we can say that squaring off is same as that of raising a number to it's power 2.

Now, square of 12 :

\textbf{12\times 12=144}

So the square of 12 is 144.
