Here, as per the provided question we have to disconnect between rectilinear motion and curvilinear motion.

So, first of all let us so the differences between rectilinear motion and curvilinear motion :

(a) Rectilinear motion and curvilinear motion

Rectilinear motion : This is a kind of motion in which object always move in straight position. Examples of Rectilinear motion are : Moving of a bus on Road can be considered as a rectilinear motion.

Curvilinear motion : This is type of motion in which object always move in curve shape. Examples of curvilinear motion are : Throwing the stones in water can be considered as curvilinear motion.

(b) Rotation and Revolution

Here, we have been told to distinguish between rotation and revolution :

Rotation : This happens with us everyday in our day to day life as we can see that the best example of this will be our day. Commonly one day consist of 24 hours i.e. 12 hrs. night and 12 hrs. day. Therefore, the moving of Earth is considered as a rotatory motion.

Revolution : This is a kind of motion which can be determined by the example of Earth as the season used to changes every likely revolution used to be happened and this is one of the most important and common example which can be asked to anywhere. These types of motion are known revolutionary motion.

Now, in the second slot we are said here to define the following types of motion which are given term there :

(a) Rectilinear motion : A kind of motion which always move in a straight path. The examples of rectilinear motion : moving of car in the path.

(b) Circular motion : A kind of motion which always moving in a circular path. The example of circulatory motion : moving of a giant wheel.
