so, 1 egg in 5/3 Rs
so, x eggs in 5x/3 Rs

sold price : 5 eggs in 12 Rs
so, 1 egg in 12/5 Rs
so, x eggs in 12x/5 Rs

we know,
sold price - purchase price = profit
12x/5 - 5x/3 = 143
(36x -25x)/15 = 143
