3x+2y=13.......1

5x-3y=9.........2

multiply eq1 by 3 and eq 2 by 2

9x+6y= 39.......3

10x-6y= 18........4

add eq 1 and eq2

19x= 57

x= 3

put x in eq2

15-3y=9

-3y= -6

y=2

hence xis 3 and y is 2
