a) 2/7* (7/16 + 21/4)
=> (2/7 * 7/16) + (2/7 * 21/4) [By distributive property]
=> 1/8 + 3/2
[Taking LCM of 8 and 2]
=> (1 + 12)/8
=> 13/8
=> 1 (5/8) Ans
b) -5/4* (8/5 + 16/5)
=> (-5/4 * 8/5) + (-5/4 * 16/5) [By distributive property]
=> (-2) + (-4)
=> -2-4
=> -6 Ans
=> (2/7 * 7/16) + (2/7 * 21/4) [By distributive property]
=> 1/8 + 3/2
[Taking LCM of 8 and 2]
=> (1 + 12)/8
=> 13/8
