Answer:

multiplying ²eqn by 2

4x-4y=4--------³eqn

subtracting ³ and ¹ eqn

3x+4y=10

-4x-4y=4

——————

-1x =6

x=-6

substituting x=-6 in eqn ¹

3x + 4y =10

(3×-6)+4y=10

-18+ 4y =10

4y= 10 +18

4y= 28

y= 28/4

y= 7

3x+4y=10

2x-2y=2

multiplying 2nd equation by 2 gives us ,4x-4y=4

adding both the equation

3x+4y=10

4x-4y=4

7x = 14

X = 2

since 3x+4y = 10

3(2)+4y = 10

4y= 4

y=1
