{\bold{\green{\huge{Your\:Answer}}}}

x = 5

y = -3

step-by-step explanation:

Given equations :-

15x - 14y = 117 ...........(i)

14x - 15y = 115 ............(ii)

now, we have to use the elimination method to solve this equation,

for this,

multiply the eqn (i) with 14 and eqn (ii) with 15,

then we get,

210x - 196y = 1638 .........(iii)

210x - 225y = 1725 ..........(iv)

now,

subtracting eqn (iii) from eqn (iv),

we get,

=> {-225 - (-196)}y = 1725- 1638

=> -29y = 87

=> y = -87/29

=> y = -3

putting this value in eqn (i),

we get,

=> 15x -(- 42) = 117

=> 15x = 117 - 42

=> 15x = 75

=> x = 75/15

=> x = 5

Hence,

solution of this linear equations is

x = 5

y = -3
