 {x}^{2}  + 2x - 3599 = 0

 {x}^{2}  + 2x - 3599 = 0

Or,

 {x}^{2}  - 59x + 61x - 3599 = 0

Or,

x(x - 59) + 61(x - 59) = 0

Or,

(x + 61)(x - 59) = 0

Therefore,

Either x+61=0 or x-59=0

So,

x + 61 = 0

Or,

x =  - 61

Also,

x - 59 = 0

Or,

x = 59

Therefore, the roots of the equation are 59 and -61.
