5 {m}^{2}  - 2m = 2

5 {m}^{2}  - 2m - 2 = 0

using \: the \: quadratic \: formula :

m =  \frac{ - b± \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}  \\

a = 5

b =  - 2

c =  - 2

now

m =  \frac{ - ( - 2)± \sqrt{ {( - 2)}^{2}  - 4(5)( - 2)} }{2(5)}  \\

I solved in notebook and found that :

m =  \frac{1± \sqrt{11} }{5}  \\
