 = (190 + 6)(190 + 8)

By using the identity, (x+a)(x+b)=x^2+(a+b)x+ab.

 =  {(190)}^{2}  + (6 + 8)190 + (6 \times 8)

 = 36100 + 14 \times 190 + 48

 = 36100 + 2660 + 48

 = 38808

196*198

= (190+6)(190+8)

Using identity ,

<b>(x + a)(x+b) = x²+ (a+b)x + ab</b>

190² + (6+8)190 + (6*8)

= 36100 + (190*14) + 14

= 36100 + 2660 + 14

= 38808

Thus , 196*198 = 38808
