Answer : 0.118

Explanation :

*********************

We know the algebraic identity:

i ) a²-b² = (a+b)(a-b)

ii ) a²+2ab+b² = ( a + b )²

**********************

Now ,

A) 6.4² - 5.4²

=(6.4+5.4)(6.4-5.4)

= 11.8×1

= 11.8 ----( 1 )

B) 8.9² + 8.9×2.2 + (1.1)²

= (8.9)² + 2×(8.9)(1.1)+(1.1)²

= (8.9+1.1)²

= 10²

= 100 -----( 2 )

According to the problem given,

(6.4²-5.4²)/[8.9²+8.9×2.2+1.1²]

= 11.8/100

= 0.118
