Step-by-step explanation:

taking a and b as x and y

 =  > x + y \sqrt{5}  =  \frac{4 + 3 \sqrt{5}  }{4 - 3 \sqrt{5} }  \\  =  > x + y \sqrt{5}  =  \frac{16 + 45 + 24 \sqrt{5} }{16 - 45}  \\  =  > x + y \sqrt{5}  =  \frac{ - 61 - 24 \sqrt{5} }{29}  \\  =  > x + y \sqrt{5}  =  -  \frac{61}{29} -  \frac{24 \sqrt{5} }{29}   \\  =  > x =  -  \frac{61}{29}  \\  =  > y =  -  \frac{24}{29}

so a is -61/29 and b is -24/29
