3x-4y=4
4x-2y=2
to eliminate X multilply both term with 4 and 3 respectivly
4(3x-4y=4)
3(4x-2y=2)

12x-16y= 16......... (1)
12x-6y = 6............(2)

Subtract eq 1 from 2
12x will cancel each other (SIGN CHANGES)
10Y = 10
Y = 1... ( putting y = 1 in eq 1)
12x-6(1)=16
12x=16+6
12x= 22
x= 2

so
 x = 2 \\ y = 1 \\ |
