Given equation,

y = 6x+11\\2y-4x=14

Subs, the 1st eq, in the 2nd eq. , we get,

2(6x+11)-4x=14\\12x+22-4x+14\\8x=14-22\\8x=-8\\\\\boxed{\boxed{\bold{x=-1}}}\\\boxed{\boxed{\bold{y=5}}}

Answer:

2y-4x=14; y=6x+11

2(6x+11)-4x=14

12x+22-4x=14

8x+22=14

8x=14-22

8x=-8

x= -1

putting the value of x on y

y= -6+11

y=5

so the value is x=-1,y=5
