Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of a chair is x

So the cost of the table is =( x+200)rs

Now..

2(x+200)+3x=1400

2x+400+3x=1400

5x=1400-400

X=1000/5

x=200

Therefore cost of the chair is 200Rs and the cost of the table=(200+200)=400Rs

Hope this help you........

Answer:

Let Cost of one chair be x.

so therefore cost of one table = x +200

So, according to question:-

2(x+200) + 3x = 1400

2x + 400 + 3x = 1400

5x + 400 = 1400

5x = 1400 - 400

5x = 1000

x = 1000/5 = 200

So, cost of one chair = 200

And cost of one table = x + 200

= 200 + 200

= 400
