Solve (x+1)(x+2)=(x+11)(x-2)​

(x + 3) : (x + 11) = (x - 2) : (x + 1)

∴ (x + 3)(x +1) = (x – 2)(x + 11)

∴ x(x +1) + 3(x + 1) = x(x + 11) – 2(x + 11)

∴ x2 + x + 3x + 3 = x + x – 2x – 22

∴ x2 + 4x + 3 = x2 + 9x – 22

∴ 4x + 3 = 9x – 22

∴ 3 + 22 = 9x – 4x

∴ 25 = 5x

∴ x = 5
