Hi!

x^2+40x-1600
(x)^2+ 2(x)(10)-(40)^2

[We got the expanded form of identity- (a-b)^2]

Trinomial can not be factored. The answer is -
x^2+40x-1600

Hope it helps...!!!

rathieshaan164p0ab7g: it will be x^(2)+80x-1600
Nikki57: oops! wait
Nikki57: ah reported?

it is identity of (a-b)^2
So the value of x is
(x-40)= 0
x= 40

rathieshaan164p0ab7g: no it will result in x^(2)+80x-1600
Isha05: so i think some sign mistake is there
rathieshaan164p0ab7g: no the question is like that
Isha05: I'm trying but value of x is in points
Nikki57: trinomial cant be factored
Nikki57: this is the answer
