3x-2x/6 = x/4 + 1/2

x/6 = x/4 + 1/2

x/6 - x/4 = 1/2

2x-3x/12 = 1/2

-x/12 = 1/2

-x = 1/2 × 12

-x = 1 × 6

-x = 6

x = -6
