GIVEN :-
» √2x + √3y = 0 --------(i)
» √3x - √8y = 0 --------(ii)
multiplying equation (i) with √3 and equation (ii) with √2
» √6x + √9y = 0 ➡ √6x + 3y = 0 --------(iii)
» √6x - √16y = 0 ➡ √6x - 4y = 0 --------(iv)
subtracting (iv) from (iii) we get,
➡ (√6x + 3y) - (√6x - 4y) = 0
➡ √6x + 3y - √6x + 4y
➡ 3y + 4y = 0
➡ 7y = 0
➡ y = 0/7 = 0
putting value of y = 0 in equation (iii)
➡ √6x + 3(0) = 0
➡ √6x + 0 = 0
➡ x = 0/√6 = 0
hence the value of y = 0 and value of x = 0
