According to 1st eqaution
x = 2 - 2y
so , putting it in 2nd eqaution in the palce of x ,
2-2y-3y=7
-5y =7-2
- 5y =5
y = -1
so, x = 2-2×-1
=2+2
=4

Answer:

x= 4, y= -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : x +2y =2

           x-3y = 7

To Find: Solve

Solution:

x+2y =2  --1

x-3y = 7   --2

Substitute value of x from 1 in 2

2-2y-3y = 7

2-5y = 7

5y=-5

y=-1

Substitute the value of y in 1

x+2(-1) =2

x-2 =2

x=4

hence the solution of the given equations is x=4,y=-1
