x - 2y - 4 = 0)--------(1)
2x + y = 3)----------(2)
from equation (1)
- x - 2y - 4 = 0
- x = 2y + 4 )-----(3)
putting equation (3) in (2)
- 2x + y = 3
- 2(2y + 4) + y = 3
- 4y + 8 + y = 3
- 5y + 8 = 3
- 5y = 3-8
- 5y = -5
- y = -1
from here we got value of y = -1
putting value of y in equation (3)
- x = 2(-1) + 4
- x = -2 + 4
- x = 2
is the required answer !!
