Hi there !

_______________________

x - 2y = 6

⇒ x = 6 + 2y ........... (i)

3x - 6y = 18 ............(ii)

Putting the value of (i) in (ii), we get ;

3x - 6y = 18

⇒ 3 ( 6 + 2y ) - 6y = 18

⇒ 18 + 6y - 6y = 18

⇒ 18 = 18

Therefore, we get results 18 = 18, which is a universal truth. So, we can say that there are infinitely many solutions to the given equations.

x - 2y =6..............(i)

3x - 6y = 18............(ii)

multiply the first equation by 3

so we get the same equation as a question number 2

so this equation have infinite many solution
