Given:

  • A linear equation is given to us.
  • The equation is \sf{\dfrac{x}{3}+\dfrac{1}{5}=\dfrac{x}{2}-\dfrac{1}{4}}

To Find:

  • The value of x .

Answer:

Here taking the given linear equation ,

\sf{\implies\dfrac{x}{3}+\dfrac{1}{5}=\dfrac{x}{2}-\dfrac{1}{4}}

\sf{\implies \dfrac{x}{3}-\dfrac{x}{2}=\dfrac{-1}{5}-\dfrac{1}{4}}

\sf{\implies \dfrac{2x-3x}{6}=\dfrac{-4-5}{20}}

\sf{\implies \dfrac{-x}{6}=\dfrac{-9}{20}}

\sf{\implies x=\dfrac{-9\times-6}{20}}

\sf{\implies x=\dfrac{54}{20}}

\sf{\implies x=\dfrac{27}{10}}

{\underline{\boxed{\red{\sf{\leadsto x=2.7}}}}}

Hence value of x is 2.7
