x/3 = 7/5 - 1
x/3 = 2/5
 Transposing 3 on the right hand side ..
x = 2/5 * 3
= 6/5
so.. x = 6/5 = 1 1/5

$\frac{x}{3}+1 = \frac{7}{5}$

$\frac{x+3}{3}= \frac{7}{5}$

$5x+15=21$

$5x=6$

$x = \frac{6}{5}$
