(x+3)/4=(2x-3)/5

Cross multiplying

5(x+3)= (2x-3)4

5x+15=8x-12

15-12=8x-5x

3=3x

x=1

Hope it helps!!

Step-by-step explanation:

 \sf  : \implies \frac{(x + 3)}{4}  =  \frac{(2x - 3)}{5}  \\    \sf \: : \implies \: 5(x + 3) = 4(2x - 3)\\    \sf \: : \implies \: 5x + 15 = 8x - 12\\    \sf \: : \implies \: 15 + 12 = 8x - 5x\\    \sf \: : \implies \: 27 = 3x\\    \sf \: : \implies \: x =  { \cancel{\frac{27}{3}}} \\    \sf \: : \implies \: x = 9  \: ans.
