First transposing 5/2 to R.H.S.

= x/3 = -3/2 - 5/2

= x/3 = -8/2

= x/3 = -4

Multiplying both sides by 3

= x/3 × 3 = -4 × 3

= x = -12

Hence, the answer is -12.
