x-3/5+x-4/7=6-2x-1/35

let's take L.C.M

7X-21+5x-20/35=6-2x-1/35

7x+5x+2x=6-1+41

14x=46

x=46/14 or x=23/7

abhaysinghpatel: yout ans is not matching in mt book .thr ans is 18
