HEY MATE HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

Step-by-step explanation:

i) x/3 + y/4 = 4 (1)

5x/6 - y/8 = 4 (2)

Solving equaton (1)

(4x + 3y )/ 12 = 4

4x + 3y = 48 (3)

Solving equation (2)

5x/6 - y/8 = 4

(20x - 3y)/24 = 4

20x - 3y = 96 (4)

Solving equation (3) and (4) by elemination method we get

16x = 144

x = 9

when x = 9

then y = 4
