Solve: x+3y = 8 , x + 3y = 4

Answer:

=x+3y=8+x+3y=4

=x+x+3y+3y+8=4

=2x+6y+8=4

=2x+6y=4-8

=2x+6y=-4

after that u can't solve it because the

variables are not same

GIVEN:-

x + 3y = 8..........(i)

x + 3y = 4.........(ii)

Multiply both eq. by 1

x + 3y = 8......... \times 1

x + 3y = 4......... \times 1

x + 3y = 8

x + 3y = 4

BY ELEMINATION,

2x = 12

x =  \frac{12}{2}

x = 6
