Answer:

   \sf\purple {\dfrac{x - 4}{7}  -  \dfrac{x + 4}{5}  =  \dfrac{x + 3}{7} }

   \sf\blue \implies \green { \dfrac{5(x - 4) - 7(x + 4)}{35}  =  \dfrac{x + 3}{7} }

 \sf\red \implies \orange{ \dfrac{5x - 20 - 7x - 28}{35}  =  \dfrac{x + 3}{7} }

 \sf\purple \implies \pink{ \dfrac{ - 2x - 48}{35}  =  \dfrac{x + 3}{7} }

 \sf\green \implies  \blue{ - 2x - 48 =  \dfrac{x + 3}{7}  \times 35}

 \sf\orange \implies \red{ - 2x  - 48 = (x + 3) \times 5}

 \sf\pink \implies \purple{ - 2x - 48 = 5x + 15}

 \sf\blue \implies \green{ - 7x = 63}

 \sf\red \implies \orange{x =   \cancel\dfrac{63}{ - 7} }

 \sf\purple \therefore \pink{x =  - 9}
