Answer:

(x – 4)(x + 3) = (x + 2)(x + 4)

x(x+3)-4(x+3)=x(x+4)+2(x+4)

x^2+3x-4x-12=x^2+4x+2x+8

x^2-x-12=x^2+6x+8

-x-12=6x+8 (x^2 & x^2 be cancelled)

7x=-20

x=-20/7

 \huge{ \pink{Question:- }}

 \sf \: Solve: (x – 4)(x + 3) = (x + 2)(x + 4)

{ \huge{ \red{ \mathscr{Solution:- }}}}

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \red{ :  } \implies \sf \: (x – 4)(x + 3) = (x + 2)(x + 4)

 \sf \pink \implies \: x(x + 3) - 4(x + 3) = x(x + 4) + 2(x + 4)

 \sf \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \implies \:  {x}^{2}  + 3x - 4x + 12 =  {x}^{2}  + 4x + 2x +8

 \sf \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \implies \:  \cancel{{x}^{2}}   - x + 12 =   \cancel{x}^{2}  + 6x + 8

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \implies \sf \: - x  -  6x = 8-12

 \sf \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \implies \: - 7 x =  -4

 \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \sf \implies \: x =  \frac{ - 7}{ - 4}
