(x-6)/2  -  (x-4)/5 = 1

LCM of 2 and 5 is 10

⇒ (5(x-6)-2(x-4))/10 = 1

⇒ 5x-30-2x+8 = 1×10

⇒3x - 22 = 10

⇒3x = 10 + 22

⇒x = 32/3

∴ x = 10.67
