Hey!!

2x - 3y = 13-------(1)

7x - 2y = 20--------(2)

From eq'n (1)

2x - 3y = 13

=> 2x = 13 + 3y

=> x = 13 + 3y / 2------(3)

Substitute eq'n (3) in eq'n (2)

7x - 2y = 20

=> 7 ( 13 + 3y / 2 ) - 2y = 20

=> 91 + 21y - 4y = 40

=> 17y = 40 - 91

=> 17y = - 51

=> y = - 51 / 17

=> y = - 3 >>>>> Answer

From eq'n (3)

x = 13 + 3y / 2

=> x = 13 + 3 ( - 3 ) / 2

=> x = 13 - 9 / 2

=> x = 4 / 2

=> x = 2 >>>>>> Answer

Therefore the value of x = 2 and y = - 3
