Solve x square - 3 x + 2 by splitting the middle term

Solution :

Given Quadratic expression :

x² - 3x + 2

Splitting the middle term , we get

= x² - 1x - 2x + 2

= x( x - 1 ) - 2( x - 1 )

= ( x - 1 )( x - 2 )
