Solve x ( x + 1 = 6 ) . Please solve it fast !!

x(x+1) =6
i)if x=2 then
2(2+1) =6
therefore
x= 2
ii) if x=-3 then
(-3)(-3+1)=6
(-3)(-2)=6
therefore x=-3
solution = {-3,2}

x(x+1)=6
x^2+x=6
x^2+x-6
x^2+3x-2x-6
x(x+3)-2(x+3)
(x-2)(x+3)
x=2 or x=-3
