Given : (x/(x-1))+((x+4)/(x+2))=29/10

To Find : Solve for x

Solution:

(x/(x-1))+((x+4)/(x+2))=29/10

x - 1 ≠  0  , x+ 2 ≠0

Hence x ≠1 , ≠ - 2

x(x + 2)  +  (x + 4)(x - 1)   = (29/10)(x -1)(x + 2)

=> x² + 2x  + x² + 3x  - 4 = (29/10) ( x² + x - 2)

=> 2x² + 5x - 4 =  (29/10) ( x² + x - 2)

=> 20x²  + 50x - 40  = 29x² + 29x  - 58

=>  9x² - 21x  - 18 = 0

=>  3x² - 7x  - 6 = 0

=> 3x² - 9x + 2x - 6 = 0

=> 3x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3) = 0

=> (3x + 2)(x - 3) = 0

=> x = -2/3  or x  = 3
