here is your answer by Sujeet yaduvanshi,

x-y=1
2x-3y=5

solving the equation by elimination method,

x-y=1. *2
2x-3y=5. *1

2x-2y=2
2x-3y=5

________
y=3

then,
putting the value of y in another equation,,
x-y=1
x-3=1
x=1+3
x=4

that's all

by elimination method

x- y=1............i)
2x-3y=5........ii)

now multiply 2 in i) eq and 1 in ii) eq.

x-y=1. ×2
2x-3y=5. ×1

2x-2y=2. iii)
2x-3y=5. iv)
now,
subtract iii) from iv)

2x-2y=2
2x-3y=5
- + -
_______
0+y=-3
______

so y=-3
put this value in i) eq
x-y=1
x-(-3)=1
x+3=1
x=1-3
x=-2
thetefore,
x=-2 , y=-3

justification,,,
x-y=1
-2-(-3)=1
-2+3=1
1=1
it is clear that our ans is right

hope it helps u....
