  • x + z = 4 ............(iii)

Now from (i) & (ii)

=> x + y = y + z

=> x = z .

Put this value in equation (iii) ,

=> x + z = 4

=> x + x = 4

=> 2x = 4

=> x = 4/2

=> x = 2 .

Therefore x = z = 2 , y = 1 - x = 1 -2 = (-1)
