Given X= a/b

Y = c/d

Required to find..(x-y)^2

we know that (a-b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab +b^2

in the same way (x-y)^2 =
x^2 - 2xy + y^2 = 0

subsitute x and y values

(a/b)^2 - 2.(a/b).(c/d) + (c/d)^2 = 0

a^2/b^2 -2.ac/bd + c^2/d^2 =0

l.C.M

a^2×(d^2) - 2ac(bd) +c^2 × (b^2)
---------------------------------------------- =0
b^2 × d^2

(ad)^2 -2abcd + (cb)^2 = 0

its in the form of

(ad + cb)2
