◆━━━━━━━▣✦▣━━━━━━━━◆

➺ x-y =2 ; x+y=4

⟹ x-y =2

⟹ x =2+y

Substituting value of x in x+y=4

⟹x+y= 4

⟹(2+y)+y= 4

⟹2+2y= 4

⟹2y= 4–2

⟹2y= 2

⟹[y= 1]

Now, again substituting value of y in x-y=2

⟹x-y = 2

⟹x-1 = 2

⟹x = 2+1

⟹[x = 3]

∴x= 3 and y=1

Answer:

x-y=2----1

x+y=4----2

substrate eq.2to1

x+y=4---2

x-y=2----1

====

2x=6

====

therefore x=6/2=3 therefore x=3

substitute x=3in eq.2

x+y=4

3+y=4

y=4-3

y=1

(x,y)=(3,1)
