Given :- solve x+y=7; 3x-2y = 11 .

Solution :-

→ x + y = 7 --------- Eqn.(1)

→ 3x - 2y = 11 ------- Eqn.(2)

multiply Eqn.(1) by 2 and adding both,

→ 2(x + y) + (3x - 2y) = 2*7 + 11

→ 2x + 3x + 2y - 2y = 14 - 11

→ 5x = 3

→ x = (3/5)

putting value of x in Eqn.(1) now we get,

→ (3/5) + y = 7

→ y = 7 - (3/5)

→ y = (35 - 3)/5

→ y = (32/5)

therefore, x is equal to (3/5) and y is equal to (32/5) .
