Step-by-step explanation:

x+y = 7 - (1)

3x - 2y = 11 - (2)

we multiplying eq (1) by 2 and eq (2) by 1

2x + 2y =14 - (3)

3x - 2y = 11 - (4)

adding eq 3 and 4 we get

(2x + 2y)+ ( 3x - 2y) = 14 + 11

2x + 2y + 3x - 2y = 25

5x = 25

x = 25 ÷ 5

x = 5

Now putting the value of x in eq (1)

x +y =7

5 + y = 7

y = 7 - 5

y = 2

Now putting the value in y = mx-3

y = mx-3

2 = m 5 - 3

2 = m 2

2÷2 =m

m = 1

Hope it help you
