- Solve: x + y = 8 and 2x - y=1.​

Given here

x+y = 8 ...(1)

2x -y = 1 ...(2)

Adding equations (1) and (2)

we get,

3x = 9

=>x = 9/3

=>x = 3

by (1) , keep value of x

we get,

3+y = 8

=> y = 8-3

=>y = 5

Thus:-

Value of

x = 3

y = 5
