SOLUTION:-

We have,

=) x² -4x +3 =0

=) x² -3x -x +3 =0

=) x(x-3) -1(x-3) =0

=) (x-3)(x-1)=0

=) x-3 =0 or x-1 =0

=) x= 3 or x= 1

Hope it helps ☺️

Step-by-step explanation:

\Huge\underline{\underline{\sf ANSWER}} \\ {x}^{2} - 4x + 3 = 0 \\ a = 1 \\ b = - 4 \\ c = 3 \\ \\ x = \frac{ - b + \: or \: - \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a} \\ x = \frac{4 + \: or \: - \sqrt{16 - 12} }{2} \\ 2x = 4 + 2 \: \: \: \: or \: \: \: \: 2x = 4 -2 \\ x = 3 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: or \: \: \: \: x = 1
