x²-6x+3=0

Quadratic formula:-

x= - b± √b²-4ac / 2a

a= 1 ,b = -6 and c =3

=>x= -b ± √b²-4ac / 2a

=>x= -(-6) ±√ (-6)²-4(1)(3) / 2(1)

=>x= 6±√36-12 / 2

=>x= 6±√24 / 2

The discriminant b²-4ac is greater than zero.

So, there are two real roots.

√24 can also be written as : √ 2×2×2×3= 2√6

=>x= 6±2√6 / w

simplify the term

=>x=6/2 ±2√6 / 2

=>x=3±√6

x= 5.44956

x= 0.55051
