(y - 3) / (y + 4) = (y + 1) / (y - 2)

(y - 3)(y - 2) = (y + 1)(y + 4)

y^2 - 3y - 2y + 6 = y^2 + 4y + y + 4

2 = 10y

y = 0.2 : Ans

Hope I helped

{\huge{\pink{\underline{\underline{\purple{\mathbb{\bold{\mathcal{AnSwEr..}}}}}}}}}

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Given:-}}}}}

\implies \: \frac{y - 3}{y + 4} = \frac{y + 1}{y - 2} \\  \\ \implies \: (y - 3)(y - 2) = (y + 1)(y + 4) \\  \\ \implies \:  {y}^{2}  - 2y - 3y + 6 =  {y}^{2}  + 4y + y + 4 \\  \\ \implies \:  - 5y + 6 = 5y + 4 \\  \\ \implies \: 6 - 4 = 5y +5y \\  \\ \implies \: 2 = 10y \\  \\ \implies \: y = \frac{2}{10} \\  \\ \implies \: y = \frac{1}{5}

Hope this will help you if it HELPS then plz mark my answer as BRAINLIEST.
